In November, another edition of the evaluation course course “Your way to better projects supporting youth entrepreneurship” in Poland has started. This is the second training course aimed at developing evaluation skills among organizations and institutions supporting young people in finding their place on the labor market – in line with the goals of the YI project.
This time, the subject of our course is dedicated to people implementing projects supporting entrepreneurship of youth in the 15-24 age group. Therefore, among our participants of the workshops are representatives of organizations conducting activities for the development of youth entrepreneurship. The participants of the evaluation course were divided into two groups that meet once a week until mid-December.
The first meeting with the students included not only organizational issues, but also was an introduction to the evaluation process and to the topics they will work with over the next three weeks. Courses also focus on the practical aspects and creating evaluation tools in groups, which motivates and engages the participants to actively acquire knowledge.
Like our previous course on evaluating projects supporting youth employment, current training takes place remotely in the blended learning formula, including e-learning carried out using the Moodle platform and online workshops with trainers. The issues presented in class and described in Entrepreneurship Toolkit include knowledge about the evaluation process, its stages, tools, etc., including participatory evaluation, which involves stakeholders in the evaluation. The Entrepreneurship Evaluation Tool is currently available in English, but its Polish version will soon be available on the website of our Foundation and the Youth Impact project!
